Special Education Services

Students identified as educationally handicapped and/or requiring accommodations through Section 504 are offered a wide variety of services within the high school. The Special Education staff works with parents, classroom teachers, and students to assist the student in fulfilling graduation requirements by providing appropriate services.

Depending upon the student’s identified needs, services may include: monitoring, academic assistance, in-class support, individual remediation, and full or part-time self-contained settings. Other services may be provided based on identified need of individual students (speech, occupational therapy, etc.)
