Science

All Science courses are guided by the Next Generation Science Standards and a variety of assessment techniques are utilized including but not limited to: tests, quizzes, laboratory experiments and reports, independent research, and projects.

Every student must have one credit in a physical science, one credit in a biological science, and a third credit in either (for a total of three science credits) in order to graduate. Any student planning to attend a four-year college or train in a science or technical area should plan to complete additional courses.
