Located at Milford High School, Windows on West Street is a student-operated restaurant that serves as the real-life course for students and an opportunity for community members to enjoy a warm delectable meal.
The restaurant features entrees, soups, sandwiches, pastries and freshly baked goods, and the menu varies on a weekly basis. Doors open at 11:15 am and seating takes place until 12:15 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Although the hours are limited, the experience is worth pursuing – it’s a great chance to see area high school students prepare & serve superior culinary delights.

" Very Impressed: This was a great experience, and was so great to see the energy and team work. Loved choices on menu, food was very well prepared, and that it is posted on line ahead of time was a nice feature. Had a great waiter and he did a very good job. Kudos to the teachers, staff that have made this happen for students. I cannot remember the time but we were the first week they started this year. Much thanks to all involved."
"When you first look at WINDOWS ON WEST STREET in Milford, it may look like many restaurants. But the difference here is that, this is inside MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL, and all of the food and table service is done by the students. You would never know you are in High School. This is part of a technical learning program that could lead to a great career. For the diners, they get gourmet food for reasonable prices and for the students, they not only get to interact with people from the community, they get a resume."
