“Education then, beyond all other devices of human origin, is the great equalizer of the conditions of men, the balance-wheel of the social machinery.”
- Horace Mann
Each day of the school year, the teaching and learning community of Milford High School comes together to work toward a common purpose and goal: To positively impact the future of a generation of high school students. When educators and students work cooperatively to learn and achieve, the student benefits directly and also the entire community. Our students today are the machine operators, the repair technicians, the attorneys, the public servants, the doctors, the teachers, the clerks, the artists, the politicians, the researchers, the architects, and the engineers of tomorrow. When all of our students succeed, the quality of all of our futures improves.
Milford High School has a long, proud tradition of civic engagement, academic achievement, and positive relationships. Many former students return to the high school to educate and serve the upcoming generation. As Milford High School embraces the opportunities of the district’s new strategic plan, its educators are poised to carry forward their strong traditions while embracing new opportunities to grow as educators and ensure that all students succeed.
