Milford High School and Applied Technology Center (ATC) is one of 28 official Career & Technical Education (CTE) centers supported by the state of New Hampshire and the US Department of Education. Milford students, as well as students from Hollis-Brookline, Souhegan, and Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative schools may enroll in our Career and Technical Education programs.

The Milford Applied Technology Center’s (ATC) labs are open to students.  We continue to provide a high quality educational experience to our students despite the challenging times we live in. Come join us and be part of our fun team!

 
Benefits of Career and Technical Education
  • CTE learners and their parents are three times more likely to report that they are very satisfied with their ability to learn real world skills as compared to non-CTE learners and their parents.
  • Over 75% of CTE learners enroll in postsecondary education after high school.
  • CTE learners have a 10% higher high school graduation rate than non-CTE students.
  • 89% of parents think students should receive more education about career choices while in high school.
  • Six of the ten hardest-to-fill positions are in technical fields or require a CTE background.
  • About half of all CTE learners are enrolled in programs in leading fields such as health care, STEM and information technology.
  • More than twice as many CTE parents report being satisfied with internship opportunities.

The Milford School District offers 11 CTE pathways in various fields. Admission to the ATC is available to all Milford High School students as well as any applicant from area schools on a first-come, first-serve basis, with space reserved for Out-of-District students in each program.
 
 
 
 
Student Voices...
 
The ATC department runs an excellent program to help students get a head start on what they want to study in higher education. There are a variety of different courses run by skilled educators who prepare the students to the best of their abilities so they may find success once they establish themselves in college as well as the workforce.
