A little bit about Mr, Laird:
From the time he was in high school taking accounting classes, Mr. Laird knew he wanted to teach accounting.
"I knew college was expensive, and my family did not have the ability to help pay for school so I joined the Air National Guard to help me pay for college. I've been working in the restaurant industry since age 16, and currently have worked for the same restaurant for over 20 years. I have worked every position from busser to manager and have had experiences throughout the years to help illustrate and give examples for accounting topics.
I took some time off from college to work for Paychex, where I managed over 300 clients and processed their payroll and investigated any tax issues. I was set to go back to school in the fall of 2001, but due to 9/11, I was activated into full time active duty.
I began going back to school in December 2001 and got my Bachelor's in Business Education in May 2003. I worked at Nashua North from 2003-2005, took a year off to be a full time restaurant manager, and went back to teaching in Fall 2007 at Pinkerton Academy. I left there in 2013 and taught at Timberlane for 1 year, and now have been at Milford since August 2014 where I have been the sole accounting teacher and one of the FBLA Advisers."

Mrs. Kim Daniels:

A little bit about Mrs. Daniels:
Mrs. Kim Daniels is the marketing teacher here at MHS/ATC for the past 10 years.
"My true passion lies in inspiring students to discover their post-high school pathways. Prior to my work in education, I worked in retail, specializing in merchandising and visual design." -Mrs. Daniels
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Daniels leads a very busy life as a wife and also as a mom to two very active teenage daughters. Much of her time is spent traveling to softball tournaments and soccer games to cheer on and support her daughers. In the rare moments of "time off” from all things work and sports, the Daniels family enjoys escaping to warmer climates and ocean views!
Carpentry: Meet Mr. Gilbert

A little bit about Mr. Gilbert:
Mr. Gilbert has combined his passion for teaching and building trades as the Carpentry Program instructor (and sometimes Woodworking Tech or Algebra teacher) at MHS for the last 5 years.
He grew up helping in his grandfather’s wood shop and on jobs, worked construction through high school and college, and has run a small business on the side while teaching math for 15 years before coming to Milford.
Mr. Gilbert has a BS in Mathematics and a M.Ed. in Math Education to go with the decades of building and woodworking experience.
He is the father of four children and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mr. Gilbert loves spending time with family, coaching, reading, woodworking, martial arts, the outdoors, and the beach.

A little bit about Mr. Curless
"I am Jeff Curless, a software engineer with 40 years of experience in the field. Currently, I am entering my fourth year of teaching Computer Science and related subjects in the Milford High School CTE Department. As a teacher in the CTE program, I am dedicated to imparting my experience, expertise, and know-how to enlighten the next generation of tech enthusiasts, programmers, and future engineers." -Mr. Curless
Mr. Curless has been the advisor for the Milford Esports team. Together the team brought the energy and teamwork to this year’s NHIAA Super Smash Brothers Championship. They advanced all the way to the quarterfinals and finishing 6th overall out of 13 Teams. Every match showcased not just skill, but communication, support, and strategic play from the entire squad.
This wasn’t just about individual talent - it was a true team victory, with players pushing each other to be their best and representing Milford with pride.
When Mr. Curless is not coding or teaching, he has served as a volunteer with Scouts BSA for over 17 years and is an avid outdoorsman. His favorite activities include hiking, exploring New Hampshire's many trails, camping, and kayaking. These hobbies reflect his love for adventure and his appreciation of the natural world.
Culinary Arts: Meet Ms. Reynolds
A little bit about Ms. Reynolds:
Bailey Reynolds graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with degrees in Culinary Management and Baking & Pastry Arts. She just wrapped up her Master’s in the Art of Teaching at Johnson & Wales University in Providence. She is from Central Massachusetts, and runs her own business, Gourmet Bae Catering, located in Worcester, MA.
"I’ve been lucky enough to work in hotels, restaurants, and catering companies, where I’ve learned so much along the way. Baking and catering are my true passions, and I love working with fresh, seasonal ingredients to create something delicious. Since I’m gluten-free, I’ve also gotten really into gluten-free baking, and I love experimenting with new recipes at home. After spending years in the kitchen, I decided to switch gears and become a teacher so I can share my love for cooking and baking with the next generation. I’m so excited to be starting this new adventure at Milford High School as the new Culinary Arts Instructor." -B. Reynolds
Engineering: Meet Mr. Xydias
A little bit about Mr. Xydias:
Mr. X is a dedicated engineering educator with 24 years of experience in the Milford School District. He is a
passionate mentor and a father of three. Throughout his career, he has inspired students to embrace hands-on learning, problem-solving, and real-world applications of engineering and technology.
Whether guiding students in robotics competitions, developing project-based curricula, or fostering innovation in the classroom, Mr. X is committed to shaping the next generation of engineers and makers. Beyond education, he enjoys outdoor adventures with his family and has a deep appreciation for JDM automobiles, gaming, and sports. His passion for engineering extends beyond the classroom into his hobbies, where he explores the intersection of
technology, design, and performance.

Graphic Arts: Meet Ms. Rolston
A little bit about Ms. Rolston:
Ms. Rolston has a master’s degree in Graphic Design from Suffolk University, and came to MHS/ATC with 8 years of industry experience. Her website portfolio ranges from designing for freelance clients to working with MIT Research

Ms. Rolston is also a small business owner.
"I own a wedding stationery company called "The Wedding Niche". I have helped many clients and am currently helping many design their dream wedding invitations, signage, and save-the-dates. You name it, I design it! If you know anyone getting married send them my way!

Health Science Occupations: Meet Mrs. Moran
A little bit about Mrs. Moran:
I received my B.A in Biology from Fresno State University and my M.S in Biology from Clemson University. I have been teaching for close to three decades. Most of my teaching experience has been in California where I taught both middle and high school science. At the high school level, I have taught Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Health Occupations and Project Lead the Way’s (PLTW) Biomedical Science program.
In June of 2021, my family and I moved to New Hampshire. When the CTE Biotechnology/Biomedical Sciences position became available, I jumped at the opportunity. I love working with students, teaching them how to use PCR and gel electrophoresis to manipulate DNA, stain microorganisms and perform gene transformation. I am excited for the Biotechnology II students to be partnering with ARMI’s (Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute) Biotrek program. This is an amazing opportunity to expose students to a real-world challenge, use critical thinking skills to solve the challenge, interact with industry advisors and learn different professions in advanced manufacturing and technology sectors.

Intro. to Culinary Arts (Elective): Meet Mrs. Savino
A little bit about Mrs. Savino:
"This is my second year teaching the elective Intro to Culinary Arts, but I'm no stranger to MHS & ATC as I worked for the past two years in the Culinary I & II programs, helping with baking and hospitality management for our student-run public restaurant WOWS (Windows on West Street). I also ran the ProStart Management team last year for the first time, and our team won second place in our state and took home the Critical Thinking Challenge Award.
I have worked in the field for over 17 years, and taught for several Massachusetts schools including Minuteman Regional High School, Middlesex Community College, and many more. I owned and operated a bakery in Billerica, MA specializing in custom cakes, specialty orders, and many baked goods. I am excited to share my passion,

A little bit about Mr. Teger:
Mr. Teger joined the MHS faculty in 2016. His impressive list of industry experience and professional roles span 30 years. Prior to his position at MHS, Jon was Director of Technology, Cinematographer, and Editor for Vetflix - a non-profit company he helped create and grow. He traveled the US capturing the stories of Military Veterans, and produced 100’s of films. Public accolades for Vetflix came from NH Governor Hassan, Senator Shaheen, Wallace Forbes, veterans groups, and many others. The National Seabee Museum chose several Vetflix films to be shown as part of a permanent exhibit. Jon’s commercial, freelance roles included Director, Cameraman, Photographer, and Audio Engineer. He also served as President / owner of NEAV Technologies, whose clients included MIT, Microsoft, and the New England Patriots.
Mr. Teger has a degree from the University of New Hampshire, and completed advanced coursework from Fitchburg State College, and Granite State College. He’s passionate about his field, and continually looks forward to sharing his vast experience with interested students. Jon believes that Milford High School is a great place to work, and feels very fortunate to be part of the team!

Woodworking (Elective): Meet Mr. Perkins
A little bit about Mr. Perkins:
Mr. Perkins started his journey in woodworking as a young boy and eventually turned it into a small business. He was a teacher at Alvirne High School, and joined the MHS/ATC faculty to teach the Woodworking course back in 2023.
"I love to teach both experienced and inexperienced teens how to safely and confidently be makers of great things while using tools that often intimidate the average person. I sprinkle a bit of history, mathematics, science, physics, design, and etymology in my process of teaching the extraordinarily useful skill of woodworking." -Mr. Perkins
