DELAYED OPENING/CANCELLATION OF SCHOOL DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
The Milford School District also uses the Blackboard school communication system. This
system provides the ability to immediately deliver general and emergency communications to
specified call lists quickly and accurately. Please ensure all of your phone and email contact
information is current in the PowerSchool Student Information System.

The Milford School District will implement a delayed opening procedure in the event of
inclement weather. If conditions are hazardous by 5:30 AM, a delayed opening will be
announced by phone call, text message and email. The announcement will also be posted on the
school district website, school district social media and WMUR. If conditions remain hazardous,
a “No School” announcement may be made over local TV and another school communication
will be sent out.
